This is a great example of how not every antique with a lock of hair is a memorial: This is a baptism souvenir from the early 20th century, a style common to Germany & Eastern Europe. Usually a piece of cloth is decorated with one or more wax ornaments & dresden paper. In this case, we are lucky & the mother added a little flower woven from the child’s hair at the bottom. The entire piece is mounted on an envelope, and there is a loose lock of this same hair inside. The box it’s in should have a lid which is missing; otherwise it’s in great condition.

- Insurance is automatically added to every order for a very small fee, via the service Route. If you choose not to insure your order, I will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- If you are outside the US & would like to purchase something, please message me to arrange payment either through Paypal invoice or through our Etsy outpost. I am not currently taking international orders on this website due to a problem with Shopify's shipping calculator.
